Are you
ready to join Acme Magic's Banner Exchange?
By joining Acme Magic, members must agree to the following terms
and conditions. Anyone violating these terms will be removed from
Acme Magic:
1. Members agree
to insert the provided HTML code for displaying banners on their
web site, in the pages they wish. The HTML code may not be modified in
any way without permission from Acme Magic.
2. The information
members provide to Acme Magic will be kept confidential and will
not be
distributed to any outside agency.
3. A banner that
appears on your site at any time may be a banner for another
member, for a sponsor, or Acme Magic. Acme Magic will not accept any advertisements
from entities whose product or advertisement are deemed by Acme Magic to be inappropriate.
4. A member may cancel
their membership in Acme Magic at any time by sending a cancellation notice to sales@acmemagic.com and removing the Acme Magic code from their website. The cancellation notice should have the URL of the banner ad
to be removed.
5. Only 1 banner
can be placed on a page. All Acme Magic banners must be displayed
on the page such that the banner is easily visible.
6. A member may not
artificially inflate traffic counts to his/her site using any
device, program, robot or other means. A banner cannot be placed on a page which reloads
automatically.
7. The Acme Magic
name, logo, software, databases, reports, web site, and information
are proprietary and cannot be used without permission from Acme Magic. However,
each member has the right to use information obtained by Acme Magic on the site or in the
promotion of the site.
8. Members agree
that their web site information (name, URL, traffic counts, etc.)
may be utilized by Acme Magic. An example of that use would be a listing of the
most popular Acme Magic sites.
9. Acme Magic, its
administrators, partners and sponsors cannot be held liable for
any damage or loss of information that may occur from the use of the services
of Acme Magic. Members agree to use Acme Magic at their own risk.
10. Acme Magic accept on this banner
exchange program only sites that have some relationship with Magic.
11. Acme Magic reserves
the right to modify, or change these Terms and Conditions as
it
deems necessary.
12. Please make sure
your banner is less then 16k and is the correct size and in GIF
